Today I want to suggest you a new project, a quick and easy idea to give new life to an old pair of jeans. What you need is just a bit ‘of broderie anglaise, a pair of scissors, needle and thread. The result is a pair of shorts funny and perfect for a day at the beach or in town on a beautiful summer day, why not?

Oggi vi propongo un nuovo progetto, un’idea facile e veloce per dare nuova vita ad un vecchio paio di jeans. Ciò che vi serve è solo un po’ di sangallo, un paio di forbici e ago e filo. Il risultato sarà un paio di shorts divertenti, perfetti per una giornata al mare o anche in città in una bella giornata estiva, perchè no?

I suggest you to do not cut your jeans too short, just start from above the knee. Then cut a little at a time so you will be safe to cut them to fit properly.

Vi suggerisco di non tagliare i jeans subito corti ma di partire da sopra il ginocchio tagliando un po’ per volta, riprovandoli sempre, cosi sarete sicure di tagliarli alla misura giusta, ricordandovi che con il sangallo si allungheranno di un paio di centimetri.

Per ottenere la sfrangiatura classica dei jeans, semplicemente, dopo aver cucito il sangallo, togliete i fili bianchi del jeans aiutandovi con un spillo. Rimarranno solo le piccole frangette blu:-)
