Dinner with parents

Yesterday I had a dinner with my parents in their house. When I entered in the dining room I immediately remembered from whom I inherited my creativity and my love for home styling, the table settings made by my mom was amazing and fortunately I had my camera with me to take some pics.The thing I loved the most was that she has used a lot of different glasses that with the light of candles were so cute!

Lovely readers, I have a really good news..this is one of the last posts with the compact camera cause I’ve finally bought a Reflex! I chose a Nikon d3100. I hope you will see the difference in my photos soon!

Chocolate pear cupcakes

Chocolate & pear cupcakes recipe:

  • Preparation time: 40 minutes – Ready in: 4 hours
  • Ingredients:
  • 100g plain chocolate
  • 100ml single cream
  • 500g shortbread
  • 40g sugar
  • a knob of butter
  • a spoon of Rum
  • hazelnuts
  • 2 pears

Roll out the pastry on a floured board, then, using a circular shape, cut the dough in small pieces and place it in small cake cases.
Bake in preheated oven at 180c for about 10 minutes.
Washed, peeled and sliced your ​​pears, cook them in a pan with butter, the sugar and a tablespoon of rum.
Remove cakes from the oven and allow to cool.
Meanwhile boil the cream, remove from heat and add the chocolate divided into small pieces.
Turn quickly to melt the chocolate.
Stuff the patties with a slice of pear and add the chocolate. Decorate with chopped hazelnuts. Let them rest in refrigerator for 3 hours.

Blacky dress yellow skirt

H&M SWEATHER BLACKY DRESS TOMMY HILHFIGER SHOES VINTAGE BAG
This is the new entry in my wardrobe. A yellow skirt.  I decided to wear it in total black, just to point out all the attention on it. I chose to wear a simple black H&M sweater and my Tommy hilfiger shoes. Some notes: I’m sorry for the unfocused photos but thanks to the love you are demostrating me I’ve convinced my boyfriend to give me a Reflex. I’m going to buy it next week! The lovely dog you see in the last picture was passing through the street while I was taking picture and she was in love with the camera so I took some picture also with her!
